Suffolk County Deer Management is a private, NYS licensed and insured nuisance wildlife control company. Since 2013 we have reduced deer for private property owners and municipalities with a program built on data, accountability and results counted by independent sources, not by us. We manage deer populations and the properties they live on, and we specialize in what most programs ignore: hunter management.

A private company, not a club
SCDM is a licensed nuisance wildlife control business, NWCO #2374, carrying $2 million general liability and a $5 million umbrella. Property owners never pay for our standard program. Municipalities contract with us for measured results.
We specialize in hunter management
Our field work is done by SCDM Management Hunters, a closed membership of proven hunters. Every hunter is vetted, scheduled, regulated through strict protocols and held to a harvest standard. Participation is a privilege, kept by meeting the program's goals. Not everyone can join, and access is earned every season.
Data driven
Every hunt is booked, checked in by GPS, and logged in The Deer Manager, our own management system. Every harvest and every deer not recovered is on the record.
Advocates for owners and hunters
We defend the property owner's right to choose who hunts their land, and the qualified hunter's right to fair access to public land.
The problem towns face
DEC wrote the case. Albany hasn't acted.
Municipalities across Long Island want answers on deer and ticks. DEC has already told the State Legislature which tools are needed to manage deer in suburban areas. Albany has not acted. SCDM is working now, with the tools the law allows today.
